When footwear has a higher price tag, it generally speaks to a number of virtues – better quality materials, expert craftmanship and elevated, limited-edition designs, which leads to more durable and investment-worthy shoes that are often more comfortable as well.

Here are some of our favourite and affordable, handcrafted, Australian made sandals. Every pair is made by me, and I make sizes 35-43 Italian which equates to 4-12 Australian. Also, for those of us that don’t want to wear ridiculous high-heels, I make flat sandals, and I also offer a cute little heel option of 2 centimetres. The 2-centimetre option has a little steel rod in the arch for a tiny bit of support.
