Big Feet or Small Feet
As a young woman I remember going on my first trip to Asia with the ambition of being able to ‘shop up a storm’ on clothes and shoes.

Unfortunately, my hopes were crushed every time I went into a shoe store. The attendants would look at my feet, laugh and then point me in the direction of the men’s shoe department.

My feet are not even that big. I wear a size 40 which is an Australian size 9. Many of my girlfriends have bigger feet than me and some have teeny-tiny feet too. Let’s face it, we all come in different sizes, don’t we!

Bearing feet sizes in mind, in the process of setting up Ankalia, I really wanted to make sure I covered a very wide range of sizing to hopefully accommodate most women.

So, on my sandal website Ankalia.com, I offer a range from size 35 up to size 43. That’s the equivalent of size 4 up to size 12 in Australian sizing. I also offer a heel choice of 2cm or a simple flat leather sole, because hey yeah, we’re all different heights too, plus we all have different feet issues.
