Cost-To-Wear Ratio
We all have some gorgeous dressy dresses in our wardrobe that cost a bomb (a whole week’s salary or more).
We may have bought them to wear to a wedding or a super dressy occasion.
Perhaps they’re now hanging in your wardrobe and you think you’ll never wear them again. Part of you might even think “oh what a waste of money.”
Well, I have some good news for you. Have you heard of “dressing down” a really dressy dress?
Your shoes can either “dress up” or “dress down” your look. You probably wore your super glamorous dress with killer heels but by simply swapping from heels to our Ankalia sandals with the 2cm heel, instantly “dresses down” your glamorous dress, and means you’ll get so much more wear out of it.
For example, if your dress cost $2,000, simply wearing it twice instantly halves the cost. Wear it four times and it’s then all of a sudden a $500 dress and so on. This is the “cost-to-wear ratio.” Don’t you just love the justification! I do!
Lots of love,
