Kindness

My favourite word is “kindness” and I’ve decided it will be one of my mantras for life. I believe that one of the healthiest habits we can adopt is kindness.

Right now, it’s cool to be kind and live in the “we” rather than the “I”.

There’s also scientific evidence to suggest cultivating kindness could almost be as important to our wellbeing and longevity as exercising and eating healthily.
Little acts of kindness can go a long way. We often can’t change the big picture but we can control the little things, like starting with how we treat our friends, family, neighbours, work colleagues, our local community, our pets and the environment.

Small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Do something kind everyday for someone else and see how good it makes you both feel.

Handcrafting sandals for my customers makes me feel good. It’s my regular daily act of kindness. On top of sandal making, I make sure I do something else kind and unexpected for someone else every day. It's a wonderful feeling!

I would love to hear what you've done that was kind? What was the response you received from the recipient and how did it make you feel?
Lots of love,
