My Favourite Coffee Places in Perth
I’m an Aussie girl that loves coffee and I need a coffee fix at least three times a day and sometimes four. My coffee of choice is a weak Cappuccino. Sometimes, I think it’s as much about the milk as it is about the coffee for me.
As I work at home alone making Swarovski crystal sandals in my little studio, it's important that I get out to a cafe at least once a day for a little bit of face-to-face people interaction and also to give myself a break from making sandals. https://ankalia.com/collections/ankalia-sandals

I do have my first coffee at home each morning, which I make with my Nespresso machine. Mid-morning, I need my next coffee to keep me going until lunch time. I also have another coffee accompanied by a chocolate bar mid-afternoon so I don’t get “hangry.” The afternoons are also when I go out to post the sandal orders I have made that day. https://ankalia.com/collections/ankalia-sandals

I’ve listed my favourite coffee hangouts below (in no particular order). They all make very good coffee and I like them all for quite different reasons BUT rest assured they do all make really good coffee. And, on a funny side note, some of the Baristas don't know my real name they call me "Sandals."

The Goods Shed, Claremont. Outdoors and on the northern side of the Claremont train station.
Vans, Napoleon Street, Cottesloe. Excellent for the vibe and ambience and a great place to have a break if you’re shopping on Napoleon Street.
Deli Chicchi, Mount Claremont. I like walking there with my dog after a lap around lake Claremont.
Elixir, Stirling Highway, Nedlands. Great if you’re driving in to the city in the morning and want to have a coffee in the car on the way in. They also do the best muffins in the world.
Il Lido, Cottesloe Beach. My favourite hangout place on Sundays after a trip to the beach.
Felix and Co, Hampden Road, Nedlands. Another place I like to walk to with my neighbour for a catch up.
Carbon on Ashton, Mt Claremont. Relatively new and owned and run by two great guys.
Barchetta, Cottesloe Beach. Absolute beach front with an outdoor balcony looking down on the beach. Magical!
Flourish, Floreat Forum. Very good coffee if you happen to be catching up with Grandma at Floreat Forum.
Stand In Room, Bayview Terrace, Claremont. Best coffee place on the terrace.
Academy, inside Claremont Quarter. Perfect if you’re shopping inside Claremont Quarter and need to sit down and have a break and think about the purchases you might make.
Boubar, Hampden Road, Nedlands

As I’m a Sandal Artisan and I work from home alone, it’s important for me to be able to get out, have a good coffee, talk to people and go for a walk during the day to keep me sane. That’s where all these cafes are really good for me and they’re all well located so I can walk to most of them. https://ankalia.com/collections/ankalia-sandals

I hope you love their coffee too! And, if you want to check out my sandals, here's my current range, all handcrafted by me:

Lots of love,
