Scarlet sandals are handcrafted by me, Cheryl, Founder & Creative Director of Ankalia, in my sandal studio in Perth, Western Australia.
I trained in traditional sandal making on the island of Capri in Italy and brought this beautiful craft back to Australia.
Every pair of Ankalia sandals is made in small, limited-edition batches, rather than mass produced. I choose beautiful leathers and carefully handcraft each pair, working with meticulous attention to detail.
