There’s certainly been an increase in the push to “Buy Australian, “Shop Small” and “Shop Local” in the last few years. Particularly now since COVID-19 we need to support, not just small Australian businesses but all Australian businesses. We need to support them to help them survive and thrive. Whenever possible, I try my best to buy from small local producers or an Australian owned and operated company. A Tribute to Celeste Barber My newest Sandal design are black beauties and they’re called Celeste. I named them after Comedian Celeste Barber as a thank you for her amazing fundraising efforts during our devastating bushfires in 2020. Celeste was on Instagram everyday creating global awareness of the bushfires to her 8 million followers all over the world. Her efforts raised more than $51 million dollars. Sisters do it for themselves in start-ups Recently we celebrated the United Nation’s Small and Medium Enterprise Day. Not surprisingly the evolution of “womenpreneurs” was identified as one of the Top 10 trends of the year.
