The Palm on Callington
City Beach Photoshoot Location
As a Sandal designer I guess it makes sense that I have a keen interest in design across a lot of other areas as well.
That said, I love beautiful homes and I love architecture, construction, renovating and interior design.
Recently I was lucky enough to do a Sandal photoshoot at a stunning home in City Beach, which is a beautiful coastal suburb here in Perth, Western Australia. The home we shot at is called The Palm on Callington. It’s a Palm Springs inspired beach house and it’s available to hire for photoshoots. It has a large pavilion over looking a centrally located pool and a desert inspired garden.
The Palm on Callington was an original 60’s home and in 2019 it was renovated. The inspiration for the renovation came from William Krisel’s design – the Lost Krisel in Palm Springs. It’s a celebration of mid-century modern architecture and it melds indoor and outdoor living beautifully.
