Lara Tan Sandals
It’s always a thrill for me when I release a new sandals design. I always love my designs and feel very proud and excited to release them. So, it seems that tan and various shades of brown are very big this summer, so my newest design is Lara in tan leather with gold hardware. They’re simple and perfect for everyday wear, all summer long. They will match with absolutely every outfit. I hope you love them! Lots of love, Cheryl xx
Tiffany & Co. Fifth Avenue, New York City
The Landmark Tiffany & Co. store on Fifth Avenue in New York is an opportunity to enjoy the very best of luxury jewellery and art. Even if you’re not a jewellery lover the new store is definitely worth a visit. Enter a place of wonder and luxury, where brilliance is found on every floor, in fact, ten floors of magnificence await you. While the Tiffany Landmark is brand new, Tiffany & Company opened their first store in New York City in 1837. The Fifth Avenue store was immortalized in the 1961 film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” starring Audrey Hepburn. I was...
Arch Support Swarovski Crystal Sandals
Maybe you know this but maybe you don’t? With most of my sandals I offer the choice of flats or a cute little 2cm heel. Surprisingly, I have met some ladies who cannot wear completely flat soles, so voila the 2cm heel option is perfect. The benefits of the 2cm heel is that it has a steel rod in the arch for that little bit of support. I also believe that the 2cm heel option is a bit dressier than the flat sole. That said, a lot of ladies choose the 2cm heel for the Swarovski crystal dressier designs and...
Runway Scout Fashion Discovery
My most favourite recent online discovery for summer outfits to team with my sandals is Runway Scout. I love wearing their dresses on a lot of my sandal photoshoots. I have five of their dresses so far, to team with my Ankalia sandals and I absolutely love them all. They fit perfectly, they are true to size, they arrive quickly, and they are very well priced. Say no more! Furthermore, Runway Scout is an Australian online store, and it was started by a fellow “girl boss” Susan in 2012. She was originally a corporate lawyer and she started Runway Scout...
Carrie Bradshaw’s Stoop
Well, if you’re anything like me you’ve watched every episode of Sex and the City multiple times. Even now, twenty years later I still love watching Sex and the City re-runs. Being a diehard fan, I have very clear memories of Carrie’s stoop. It’s almost famous in its own right. So, on my recent trip to New York Carrie’s stoop was way up there on my New York bucket list. I visited it once with my “New York with Sami” girlfriends and again when I booked myself on the Sex and the City tour. It’s in the West Village and...
The Garment District and Mood Fabrics New York City
Sandals are what I design and make but I’m also a fashion lover and dress loving kind of girl. As a little girl I grew up with Mum making most of my clothes on her sewing machine. I would go to bed at night and listen to the gentle hum of Mum’s sewing machine whirring away. Quite often, I would wake up in the morning to the thrill of a beautiful new dress hanging on my doorknob. Many Saturdays were spent going to the haberdashery pouring through the pattern books for the perfect dress pattern, then choosing the fabric, along...
