5 Random Facts About Me
I love it when people share some fun facts about themselves that I wouldn't necessarily know about them. AND although I'm a sandal designer, I do call it my "mid life creative detour," as I have done and still do many other things in life.
So I thought I would share 5 random things about me.
Here goes.....
1. I studied Fashion & Luxury Goods Management at University in Milan, Italy.
2. I did an Internship in Italy where I worked for No Pay and was trained in sandal making by a traditional Sandal Artisan.
3. The first "real" job I ever had was as a Ski Instructor for 13 winters in a row. I worked in Austria for the northern hemisphere winters and Mount Buller for the southern hemisphere winters.
4. As a 7 year old, I started my first business. I was a little 'horsie' kid and I sold my horses poo for $1 a bag. Apparently it's good fertiliser for the garden.
5. I've hiked Mount Everest base camp, the Kokoda track and Machu Pichi, just to name a few.
So, although my passion and business is sandal making, I still like to challenge myself in other ways in life, particularly travel and adventure. Do any of these things surprise or interest you?
