Never in my life had I ever watched a single game of soccer! Being a born and bred Melbournian, all I ever knew was AFL when I was growing up. I just didn’t get how a game with a score of 1-0 or 0-0 could be fun to watch. But boy-oh-boy did that all change thanks to the Matildas.
